All work is carried out in our workshop in Stotfold by experienced technicians using high‑grade components and modern, safety‑compliant wiring. Our aim is to return your lamp in sound working order while keeping its original design and spirit intact.
How the service works
1. Choose your lamp type.
Select the options below that best describe your piece — table lamp, floor lamp etc — along with the number of bulbs and size band. This provides a clear price for the work required.
2. Place your order online.
You may add notes or photographs at checkout stage if helpful, though many customers simply book the service and let us take it from there.
3. Send or bring your lamp to us.
Once ordered, please drop off or post your lamp to:
Lampfix, Unit 6, Fen End, Stotfold, SG5 4BA
(Kindly include your order number if sending by post.)
4. Assessment and expert restoration.
On arrival, we assess the lamp, advise you of our recommendations, and agree any special requirements before work begins. We then carry out the rewire using premium cable, replace lampholders where needed, and complete full PAT and safety checks.
5. Collection or return delivery.
We notify you when the work is complete, usually within 2 weeks. You may collect your lamp in person or arrange courier return.
