If you're looking to replace an existing incandescent bulb, one of these LEDs will be a great fit. You won't be able to tell the difference when they’re lit up, and they use much less energy. Here’s a quick guide: to replace a 25W incandescent lamp, select a 2W LED; for a 40W incandescent lamp, choose a 3.5W LED; and for a 60W incandescent lamp, go for a 4.5W LED.
Not all LEDs are dimmable, so if you need a dimmable lamp, ensure you select a variant labeled "dimmable." The lowest wattage dimmable LEDs we offer are 3.5W. If you have a dimmer switch in place and plan to use a non-dimmable LED, we recommend asking your electrician to either: a) replace the switch, or b) even better, replace the dimmer module with an 'on/off' version. The module is the component behind the dimmer knob that powers the lamp(s) and is quite easy to change.
If you find that your dimmable LEDs still flicker when dimmed, you may need to ask your electrician to replace the module with a trailing edge version.
