Cable Cropper

This 8-inch cutting tool cuts up to a 13 mm diameter. It is a good old-fashioned cable shear that your grandpa would have used. It simply uses physics to enable a smooth, friction-free cut. The shearing action, as opposed to the compression action used by conventional side cutters, provides a cleaner cut. Experienced electricians have used this old favourite to both cut and strip twin and earth cable. Note: This tool is suitable for copper wire and should not be used on steel wire.
