🎉 50 Years of Lampfix 🎉
Today — Monday 3rd November 2025 — marks 50 years since Quintex began, back in 1975.
My father, Brian Smith, started Quintex on this day all those years ago. Since then, it’s grown and evolved through many chapters — from electrical wholesaling roots, to becoming Lampfix; the one stop place for all your lighting needs.
It’s amazing to think of the people, projects, and products that have come through Lampfix over half a century. So much of what we do today still reflects those early values — reliability, care, and craftsmanship.
Here’s to 50 years of Lampfix — and to building the next 50 with the same spirit that started it all.
