Decorative batten holder, often used when height of ceilings is very low and people want a lamp close to the celling. This fitting enables a shade to be used (see Shade rings available) Its other advantage is this fitting can fit straight to a BESA box. The lampholder is metal so no worries about heat build up. Lampholder insert has earth terminal attached, so makes for ease of installation.
