What does the 0.5mm and 0.75mm refer to with this cable? The 0.5mm and the 0.75mm refers to the cross-sectional diameter of the inner copper cores. It is not the overall cable width.

About the Antique Gold Flex: This lovely deep dark heavy coloured flex really does look antique and will complement any fitting requiring that aged look.  British made and very flexible this cable is a pleasure to work with.  Works very well with Dark Wood Fittings.

About the Black Flex:  Suitable for wiring light fittings.  2182Y means in every day terms that the insulation is thinner than on 3182Y cables and therefore is easier to work with, especially when running through cord restraints and wiring into ceiling roses.  (3182Y is more suited to more heavy duty applications ie Machinery).
