2 1/4" is a very common size for lighting glasses and shades to use for a rim fitting. This Gallery is designed to fit a standard BC lampholder with shade rings. Having used these many times here it is a very simple yet effective way of attaching a glass shade to a lampholder. The final result is always stunning. You can match the colour of the lampholder with the colour of the gallery. Fits glass with rim diameter of 2".
