    What is this product?

Wearing a real wooden cover, this ES Lampholder has a very natural look to it compared with other models. It is the bit of a light that holds the light bulb. This particular version mounts a hanging cable, bulb facing down. I have heard them referred to as bulb holders, sockets, fixtures, you name it.  It is a plastic lampholder under a wooden cover, it does not need an earth.

Wood - yes Natural Wood - Visually the most unlike a lampholder, yet a lampholder we stock!  So Skandi somehow - look at the ceiling roses we have that match.  Available in 3 finishes, Limed, Natural & Dark, these will definitely make a talking point over your breakfast bar.  They are E27 so the range of bulbs you can fit is almost unlimited.

    How to use it

Before you start using it, you will need 2 core cable stripped back by 20-25mm.  See our cables section on for videos on how to do this.

See the video on the picture slider above showing how to wire this lampholder.

We recommend you are competent at electrics to do this. If in doubt you should consult an electrician.

What light bulb does it take?

This lampholder takes an E27 or 'ES' bulb.  An ES bulb has a screw cap on it, 27mm wide, and one of the most common bulbs in the UK.
